Hi, this is Joshua Peterson with Peterson Electric here today in Denver on a ceiling fixture. A little unique, got it from Modern Bungalow. What I want to show you is that the old plastic box that was a nail on was not strong enough for this. We also had two other boxes with pendents that they wanted out. We had to wire it to a center point. You cannot put a junction box under drywall. If you do, it will end up being a big issue for you later. They are going to have to patch this, take this down and patch that. This is a ceiling fan rated box, so I could do chin ups on this. It is so strong. I think it is up to a 100 pounds. This fixture right with the glass probably weighs about 25 pounds, but it was still pulling on the box because this design pulls down. That is it. Thanks for joining us!
