Hi, this is Joshua Peterson with Peterson Electric in Denver, Colorado for a customer. They asked us to come out and add some outlets in their office. This house is in 1907, they have about one or two outlets in some of these rooms. They have older lath and plaster walls, which makes it difficult to get in there and add any wire. We did something that is code. It is called wire mold and we surface mount that to the top of the painted surface. There is a four plex here. We have 4 outlets here, but 2 circuits here. The 2 top outlets are one circuit and the 2 bottom outlets have a circuit. We traveled all the way around over to here and across the room. We were able to elevate any circuits tripping especially in the winter when they are sitting by the window typing and plugging in a space heater. This gave them a dedicated circuit for the space heater and a dedicated circuit for the computer equipment, which is good because this house didn’t have any grounding in these outlets here and all essential computer equipment especially if you have an office should have grounds should have grounds that go straight to the panel and to the Earth. We got that all taken care of. It is about a 4 hour job. That’s it! We will see you next week!
