Hi, this is Joshua Peterson with Peterson Electric. We are here in Washington Park Area today. Customer requested that they hang a chandelier here and we had a can light. These cans light, just so you know have 3 screws inside have a 1/4 20 nuts on there. You can pull out the center of the can trim and sometimes get accessible to the can junction box. In this scenario because of the wait of the fixture, the can trim that they sell at the big box store for holding & adapting can to fixture. You cannot get away with more than a pound to two pounds, so when your fixture starts getting heavier, you have to cut this out. We had to pull the can trim out and unfortunately cut a whole in the drywall for a square. We are going to have to pull out this because this is actually a new construction can light, then once we do that, we were able to find 2 x 4 here. Because this is a bungalow home, they have 2 x 10s in there, but they furred down the drywall to make it flat and they used 2 x4s all the way across the room, so we are going to put a pan box in right here or a nail on sideways to get that fixture to hang.
