Hey, this is Joshua Peterson with Peterson Electric. We are here in Loveland, Colorado. Had a client ask us to look at the home to run a HDMI Cable from this point to over here. There are 3 ways to doing that. One is cutting drywall, but there is a lot of different studs in there that we would have to cut and drilled. Typically, you will have to get that mudded of course and that can cost between $300.00 to $700.00 depending on how badly cut. What we chose to do and the second method is to do wire mold, which would be a surface mount, a plastic flat conduit. It is white or ivory. We can get from A to B. The third way, we can also do it is through conduit. We drilled safely throughout the outside of the house and went from here to over here. As we zone in, we can see, we came in there. He is going to run a second HDMI cable later. The conduit is right here. Unfortunately, it had to be a one inch conduit to come down here and around. The pipe comes up through the back side of this wall. The only other thing I had to do for these guys is to run an outlet up, so the TV is right here. It is fairly large and it will cover that. Sometimes, we try to get it centered, but that doesn’t matter as much as getting it hidden. To get it center would be tough, we would have to come down with wire mold, drill in and fish up to here or in here. The goal is to just hide it and tie trap the wires up and that will work for that. What we did for here is we ran a 14-3 cable down, so this was a half hot. This was switched and this was powered. We changed the outlet because he wanted this fully powered for his devices and up here, we did a half hot and full switch right here. This will be a switch one to turn LED lights on, on the back of the TV. The other one is a full hot, which he is going to mount in here a surge protection for all the plug-ins up here. It will all be hidden. It will give a nice glow effect, when the TV is on. It will illuminate this way. Thanks! We do simple projects like that. Let us know if we can help you.
